TRANSPOSITION, MUTATION, MODIFICATION AS TYPES OF WORD-FORMATION MEANINGS FOR COMPOSITE ADJECTIVES
he article is devoted to determining the types of word-formation meanings of composite adjectives. Transposition, mutation and modification are considered in connection with univerbalisation composites and derivation ones. These types should be divided in accordance with the onomasiological approach aimed at derivation nature of word-formation semantics. The concept of equivalent motivation type is employed to determine word-formation meaning of univerbalisation composite adjectives. Derivation composites demonstrate mutation changes.
