Abstracts:
The article attempts to develop the guidelines for teaching students morphological norms which are the rules of formation of different parts of speech; reveals the typical rules, the knowledge of which is checked at the unified state exam in Russian, offers the ways of explanation of these rules. The authors pay particular attention to the difficulties of the formation of some forms of the Russian nouns: the nominative plural form (the choice of the ending «-ы/-и» or «-а/-я») and the genitive plural form (the choice of the ending «-ов/-ев» or zero ending). The paper also gives some referral information on how to correctly identify the gender of indeclinable nouns.
