Abstracts:
The updated understanding of the historiosophical position of P. Chaadaev contributes to identifying the way to developing a national idea of Russia. The purpose of the article is an attempt to understand the way Chaadaev interpreted the «new idea» of the constitution of the Russian nation within the framework of the pan-European historical process. The author employs analytical and historical-biographical research methods. As a result, the idea of the indissolubility of the ideas of Chaadaev and the method of his cultural positioning as a private person is predominantly affirmed. The article concludes that Chaadaev with his concept of the synthesis of religion and science, on the one hand, and the way of being in society, on the other, was a separate social institution, the meaning of which is the urgency of experiencing what is happening to Russia through the inner self.
