ANALYSIS OF NORMATIVE LEGAL ACTS THAT ENSURE CONFESSION ORIENTED EDUCATION IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Spiritual revival of Russia's population has led to increasing interest in religion, change of the religious consciousness of the people. Inclusion of children and youth into religious values in educational institutions is due to the fact that it promotes civic education, patriotism, love for the country, family. However, scientific literature expresses the concern about the lack of clear legal boundaries between the church and the state. Taking into account the educational needs of citizens, the need for spiritual security should be provided. Russia needs to bring the Russian legislation into conformity with the norms and principles of international law. The paper presents the analysis of legal acts providing confession oriented education in the Russian Federation, analyzes their regional specificity.
