Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the problem of studying the traditions of precentorial school of the Russian Orthodox Church. The pedagogical tradition precentorship of the Russian Orthodox Church is considered as a factor in moral education of children. The paper examines the history and evolution of the traditions of precentorship, the issues of professional training of cantors. It raises the problem of the leading role of moral education in the development and formation of personality, the need to identify and engrain the best traditions of the Russian musical education, to pay special attention to the revival and preservation of the pedagogical tradition of precentorship.
