Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the problem of ethno-linguistic origin of the genonymum Duligatsky. The author has introduced the tribal names of the Tungus population of Nerchinsk Uezd on the basis of the documents of the State Archive of the Zabaikalye Territory for scientific use. Basing on the linguistic fats of historical development of some of the Siberian languages, the author explains the supposition of correlation of the genonymum Duligatsky with the mysterious «su-Mongols» or «water-Mongols» by Plano Karpini and other foreign travellers in the works on the ethnical population of Mongolia of 1248. The development of lexical variants of denoting water in the Turkic languages conditioned the appearance of appellative-sinonyms that allowed to define «water-Mongols» or «su-Mongols» as exonyms Dulu and Dulga. Such comparisons reveal the origin of convergent character. That means that in historical past of the described territory there was a diachronic area-linguistic unity, including Turkic, Mongol and Samoyedic languages. The author suggests the origin of pre-ethnonimic meaning of the name Duligatsky as the ethnonimic of Dolgan – Tya-Kihi, which means «the forest people» on the basis of facts of historical development of the Mongol languages.
