The article reveals the features of development of students’ skills in monologic speech through identification of text-forming potential of lexical and grammatical categories; pays serious attention to chain interphase communication, which is the leading way of combination of complete sentences in texts of different types, styles and genres; explains the importance of language learning based on the literary works of the best writers of our time, encompassing ethical philosophy, containing the cultural code of the Russian nation.
