Abstracts:
The article discusses the formation and development of Orthodox education of students, provides the characteristic of the state of public education in the Chuvash Republic and the main ways of its reforming, describes the research methodology and the content of spiritual-moral upbringing of the younger generation in the Chuvash Republic in the second half of the 19th century – beginning of 20th century considering the Russian reality and regional features of education of the Chuvash people of the specified historical period.
