The article considers the legal basis of blind and visually impaired students’ education; analyses some modern research works on teaching a foreign language blind and visually impaired students; discusses the problem of employing ICT and m-learning; stresses on the lack of the methods developed by the Russian scientists on training visually impaired students; provides some directions of improving methods of teaching blind and visually impaired foreign language teachers-to-be.
