Abstracts:
Small genres of folklore are considered as effective means of speech therapy to overcome the delay of speech development in children of early age. The article presents some fragments of speech training with the three- and two-year-old children with delay speech development. The training is based on the nursery rhymes from the Russian folklore within the lexical topic «domestic birds and animals» which is recommended to induce children’s imitative speech activity in the form of any audible manifestations of and to increase speech understanding.
