Abstracts:
The article substantiates the necessity of improvement of quality of professional training of engineers during the studying period at a technical institute; formulates the peculiarities of professional competences of students of construction specialization, provides the descriptors and characterizes the levels (low, advanced, productive) of mastering these competences. The article also presents the competence-based model of the practice-oriented training of students of construction specialization, its theoretical justification and results of experimental approbation.
