Abstracts:
The article deals with the possibility of formation of social competence of future teachers of foreign languages through the use of audiovisual teaching aids. A particular attention is paid to the fact that online learning communities, audiovisual materials and new information technologies contribute to the contextualization of language acquisition process, which leads to an increase in the level of sociocultural competence of future foreign language teachers.
