Abstracts:
The article deals with the language tools and techniques used in modern French newspapers to represent the acts of terrorism. The purpose of the work is to study the image of terrorism in the political worldview in French and Russian mass media on the basis of the identification, analysis and classification of terrorism act concepts. According to the purpose, there have been revealed some objectives: 1) to explicate the theoretical concepts of «concept», «conceptual metaphor», «linguistic worldimage» and the correlation of these concepts; 2) to identify and classify the lexicalsemantic group «terrorism» in the Russian and French languages; 3) to analyze the different approaches to analysis of journalese texts.
