ARTIFICAL MALE SMELL IN GERMAN-SPEAKING ROMANTIC DISCOURSE
This article is devoted to the consideration of the questions related to the description of the olfactory image of a man in perfume discourse on the basis of text fragments of works of German literature that describe scenes of communication between lovers. The paper also considers problem of the influence of one‟s beloved man‟s perfume on physiological and mental state of a woman, which causes emotional attachment, trembling feelings or an uncontrollable desire for rapprochement. The data of the conducted scientific research make it possible to single out the metaphor as the leading means of representation of the olfactory image of a man.
