Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the acute problem of patriotic and physical education of the youth in modern society. It substantiates the idea that the military-oriented means and methods of physical culture result in successful patriotic education of the youth. Having analyzed the regulations of the Government of the Russian Federation and the legal acts of the RF on patriotic and physical education, the authors have revealed the main aspects of sports and patriotic education of younger generation in modern Chuvashia.
