Abstracts:
The given work is devoted to consideration of a linguistic component as an important component in personal sphere. The article analyzes the concept of ethno-culture, its features, and structure. The analysis of interrelation of ethnic origin and language contributes to underlining their significant role in comprehension of ethnic identity. The work also presents the language functions in ethnic system and its role in formation of the model of the world, characteristic for a specific ethnos. According to the ethno-cultural structure, the basic components of ethnocultural heritage and their interrelation with ethnic language are differentiated. The components of ethno-linguistic communicative competence of the person are considered. They determine the person’s ability to live a successful life.
