HOME READING IN THE COURSE OF SPANISH

AS THE SECOND FOREIGN LANGUAGE[1]

The article is devoted to organizing the process of home reading in Spanish as the second foreign language. It is believed that the positive experience in home reading in the native and the first foreign languages is reproduced in new conditions while mastering the second foreign language. It facilitates teachers’ work and optimizes students’ learning activities. The system of exercises on checking home reading of prose writings has been worked out on the basis of the analysis of current practice of working with fiction, that helps students not only understand the contents but also interpret it.
