Abstracts:
The article considers the role of the humanitarian component of technical university engineering graduate’s training. It demonstrates that the essential prerequisites for ensuring graduate’s sound education are student’s striving to become a well-rounded engineer and constant interaction of professors in engineering and the humanities. The authors provide the examples of such interaction. Foreign language training is viewed as a constituent of the system of technical specialists’ training in the context of the current demands (designated in a permanent interaction of education, science and industry) for graduates.
