Abstracts:
The article deals with the essence of readiness for professional self-education, gives the understanding of it as a key competence that graduates should acquire during their studies at the military institute of higher education; this approach to definition is one of the ways to improve the efficiency of formation of readiness of professional self-education of future officers of Federal Service Troops of National Guard, that provides its implementation at interdisciplinary level. It has been established that it is necessary to draw teachers’ and commanders’ of student units to this problem during the entire period of training at the military institute of higher education.
