Abstracts:
The study is dedicated to the Chuvash agnonymic word combinations with the component вырăс ‘Russian’. The author attempts to semanticize the following combinations: вырăс мăянĕ lit. Russian atriplex;вырăс пир, вырăс пирĕ lit. Russian cloth; вырăс пиçиххи lit. Russian strap; вырăс праçникĕ lit. Russian holiday; вырăс пултранĕ lit. Russian heracleum; вырăс тотри lit. Russian kerchief; вырăсла тутăр lit. Russian style kerchief; вырăсла пуртă lit. Russian style axe; вырăсла çава lit. Russian style scythe. These phrases are due to the Russian realities and contrasted with the Chuvash denotations.
