Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the problem of the translation of the story of the Chuvash children’s writer Eva N. Lisina «Çăкăр чĕлли» (Slice of bread) into the Hungarian language. The Chuvash-Hungarian cultural relations have a significant history and still exist, particularly through translations of literary texts. The author analyzes the personal experience of translation, which includes many extra-linguistic factors along with the linguistic ones.
