Abstracts:
The article studies the world of childhood in the works of S.V. Maksimov; reveals some peculiarities in the descriptions of the world of childhood in the works on folklife culture. The author remarks that S. V. Maksimov interprets childhood not just as a stage of life that has its beginning and end, but the spiritual and moral basis which allows a person to exist in the world, to understand the past and present, people and nature, culture and homeland. In the works of S. V. Maksimov the image of a child is not central, it is in close connection with the themes of family, home. The writer tends to show the life of Russian people from birth to death, to unfold the moral and ethical origins of national character.
