Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the problem of moral potential of sacred music. The author examines the influence of the Orthodox choral arts in forming moral values. Being an important part of the Russian national culture, sacred music offers a tremendous potential. Aspired to the spiritual world of man, it develops moral and aesthetic feelings. The article discusses the use of the Russian sacred music as the main means of developing moral values at younger generation as studying it provides the transfer of the spiritual experience of the mankind.
