The article presents a brief review of the perspectives in the field of training of future lawyers for them to be able to apply information and communication technologies (ICT) in their professional activity; considers the professional standard of the lawyer; reveals the issues of formation of competence in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT competence) at future lawyers at the stage of secondary professional education.
