Abstracts:

The monastery garden grows 92 species of vascular plants from 84 genus and 38 families, with 45 species being cultivated introduced species, from which 17 species can exist only in culturecenoses. These indices contribute to the idea of creation of «Eden». The low indicators of species richness, concentration of species in the top 10 families of flora and high content of aliens species (61,3%) result in the inability of the monastery garden to exist independently. The non-native (aliens) fraction dominating species originate from North America, the Mediterranean and East Asia and make up a total of 58,6%. The weed species (40%) (8 species are transformers), species culturcenoses (36%) and meadow species (11%) dominate in the ecologo-cenotic spectrum. The therophytes (32%) and hemicryptophytes (30%) mainly represented by decorative and weeds, phanerophytes (15%) totally represented by introduced species dominate in the biomorphe spectrum. The garden landscaping system is based on the floral ornamental design.
