Abstracts:
The article gives our own definition of the term «professional competence of teachers of foreign languages». The article deals with the problem of professional training of teachers of foreign languages in implementing the new Federal State Educational Standard. One of important ways of solving this problem is training teachers of foreign languages based on activity approach. The article suggests ways of implementing the approach, practical recommendations on lecturing and practical training of foreign language and methods of teaching foreign languages.
