Abstracts:
he authors have identified the national and cultural peculiarities of phraseology formation and its functioning in different linguistic cultures on the example of comparative analysis of phraseological units containing phytonym component in the Tatar and French languages. The article also reveals the repertory, semantic and stylistic features and frequency of phytonym components used in the formation of phraseological units, explains historical and cultural background that were encoded in semantic structure of phraseological units and that determined their specificity for one of these languages in particular.
