Abstracts:
The specific character of the professional activities of law enforcement agencies implies some extreme factors which are often connected with the real dangers for health and life, with the unforeseen situations, great physical, psychological load. The article reveals the situations in official activities which cause difficulties of professional adaptation. The analysis of the practice of functioning of law enforcement agencies testifies of the need for performing specific activity that implies timely diagnostics of the level of law enforcement officers’ adaptation to their official activities. The article also provides the indices which make it possible to estimate the level of the adaptation to the conditions of official activities taking into account the parameters which influence the adaptation of law-enforcement officers (with respect to content and conditions of professional activity, standards and values of profession).
