Abstracts:
In recent years it is becoming more and more urgent to study the culture of indigenous peoples including the Eastern Mari. The Mari are the people who managed to preserve their unique cul-tural heritage, whose potential needs to be more comprehensively studied for the purpose of its imple-mentation in the educational system. Particular attention should be paid to the study of Mari bagpipes. The nature of Mari imitative tunes and simple folk melodies played on bagpipes allows you to use this instrument for music lessons at school. Studying this instrument with children at school can solve a num-ber of important tasks of patriotic, aesthetic, physical and labour education.
