Abstracts:
The article dwells upon the problem of grammatical errors in the speech of students of language faculties. The author provides the results of diagnostic testing which determined the factual level of students’ grammatical skills, the dynamics of grammatical errors in students’ oral speech. The study of theoretical literature, practice of teaching, and also the analysis of diagnostic testing results proved that making mistakes is conditioned by a number of linguistic, psychological, didactic and methodical factors which are described in the present article.
