Abstracts:
The work is dedicated to the words of the Russian language with an uncertain definition that were presented in the dictionary by V.I. Dal. The author mainly deals with the words of the Volga-Ural region. Absolute agnonyms are often the result of borrowings, and under the semantization it is nec-essary to turn to contactology material. In the present study the semantization of agnonyms of the Russian language relies on the Russian, Turkic and Finno-Ugric material.
