Abstracts:
The article discusses the lexical unit calm as the representative of the semantic field air element as well as its implementation in K.D. Balmont’s poetic language. This unit as a paradigmatic expresseme carries great semantic load and has a conceptual meaning for Balmont’s idiostyle. Moreover, it is characterized by mythopoetic features of the image. The expresseme calm fulfill its se-mantics both in the aspects of inter-being peculiarities anticipating the divine world, and a special spiri-tual state of the lyrical character.
