Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the research of the biological conception of language in auto-poietic theory of Chilean scientists H. Maturana and F. Varela. The purpose of it is to extract a linguistic constituent of their epistemological approach to the study of living systems and to consider some ques-tions concerning the biological interpretation of language. This biological conception is described in terms of the autopoietic theory itself. The interpretation of the terms of some modern contemporary linguists is coherently evaluated. The article provides the implications of the theory’s development and further employment in the domain of cognitive linguistics.
