Abstracts:
The issue of how to create and maintain the positive image of the state is still relevant for the political discourse of each country. The purpose of this article is to analyze the impact of the crisis in Ukraine on the image of the United States, Germany and Russia formed by the leaders of these coun-tries. This investigation provides a comparative semiotic and semantic analysis of the official Internet publications for the two periods of 20092010 and 2014. In the conclusion there are some assumptions on the way the analyzed events influenced the image of the state.
