Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept «happiness» which plays an im-portant part in the Chuvash linguoculture. As exemplified by the Chuvash paremiological units, wishful thinking and literary works there have been selected some conceptual, axiological and figurative compo-nents of the concept «happiness». The conceptual component of the concept reflects the dictionary en-tries. All the values and accepted standard of conduct in a particular community compose the axiologi-cal component of the concept. Considering the studies of V. I. Karasik, the author identifies such axiological components of the concept «happiness» as supermoral, moral and utilitarian. The figurative component of the concept «happiness» is expressed with the help of metaphors.
