Abstracts:
The results of experiment with malformed text reconstruction by academic bilinguals are given in the article. Malformed text is a text which is divided into parts, then the parts are mixed up, and informants are given task to reconstruct this malformed text. Reconstruction of a malformed text is determined by linguistic and genre peculiarities of the text, reader’s ability to use logical cohesion means to form cohesion between the parts of the text, to define the general idea of the text and its implication.
