THE EFFECT OF CARDIORESPIRATORY RESONANCE ON THE VARIABILITY OF QT-INTERVAL OF THE ELECTROCARDIOGRAM
One of the most striking manifestations of the interaction between the respiratory and cardiovascular systems is cardiorespiratory resonance that manifests itself in a sharp increase of heart rate variability at the coincidence of the respiratory cycle with the cycle of baroreflex activity. We have performed the ECG to the subjects during respiration with resonant and non-resonant frequencies, on the basis of which the parameters of the QT interval have been calculated. It has been established that the breath at the resonant frequency affects different variability of the QT interval.
