Abstracts:The article analyses the structure and content of the further vocational training courses for children's basketball coaches. The analysis has shown that the general period of training courses for children's coaches in the system of further vocational education is 72 hours. These training courses con-tain both theoretical and practical sections, with theoretical taking around 55-60% of the overall course time. However, coaches show more interest in practice-oriented courses and workshops. This is confirmed by the coaches’ survey data. According to the children's basketball coaches' survey results, the most significant demand is for courses and seminars lasting from 8 to 12 hours and which are practice-oriented such as training process or preparation for competitive events.
