SEMIOTIC-SYNERGETIC PRINCIPLES OF THESAURUS MODELLING OF THE SEMANTIC FIELD OF THE TERM EXICOLOGY
The article deals with the peculiarities of thesaurus modelling of the terminological field ‘lexicology’ entering the semantic domain of ‘general lexicological terms’. Based on the results of component analysis of the English definitions corpus, there have been figured out equivalent, hierarchical and associative relations between the head term of the entry and other terminological units within the modelled semantic field. The linguistic research is based upon the neo-Saussurian theory of terminological sign.
