Abstracts:
The matter of this article are the results of years of research on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan on the assessment of changes in the avifauna during the hundred year period (the beginning of the 20th century – the beginning of the 21st century). During this historical period some significant changes in the fauna and population of birds have taken place on the territory of Tatarstan in the process of anthropogenic transformation of natural ecosystems. Deforestation, plowing, construction of reservoirs, urbanization have significantly changed the landscape of the region. The new conditions of the environment contribute to the invasion of species on the territory, at the same time to the downsizing and disappearance of other species. The article presents the dynamics of species composition of birds.
