Abstracts:Physical education classes in educational institutions are the main space where young people can and should receive physical education. These classes should cover the whole contingent of students – both healthy and with health problems. Modern data on the state of health of Russian university students show a tendency to increase the number of students classified as a special medical group (SMG) for health reasons. The article is devoted to the development of a therapeutic physical training program for students of the special medical group of undergraduate students of higher educational institutions taking into account four nosological subgroups: 1) with diseases of cardiovascular system; 2) with diseases of musculoskeletal system; 3) with diseases of respiratory organs; 4) with visual impairment. The author implemented a program of therapeutic physical training for SMG students, consisting of seven stages, starting with the analysis of the medical condition of SMG students and formation of nosological subgroups and ending with the development of universal exercises for each subgroup. The article presents the results of analyzing the health status of SMG students, on the basis of which the main groups of diseases were identified. The forms of physical exercises taking into account the identified diseases and methods of diagnostics of the functional state of students before and after classes (Stang test, Henchey test, heart rate (HR), vital capacity of lungs (VCL)) are proposed.
