Name of article:PRINCIPLES OF TEACHING ORAL MONOLOGUE IN RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE USING VLOGS
Keywords:teaching principles, foreign language oral speach, monologue, vlog, Russian as a foreign language
Abstracts:The article analyzes didactic and methodological principles ensuring the development of oral and speech skills in Russian as a foreign language (RFL). The communicative orientation of foreign language teaching involves mastering, first of all, the skills of foreign language oral speech, which corresponds to the social order of modern society. With the development of international contacts, the scope of using a foreign language to achieve various communication goals is expanding. In these conditions, the search for effective technologies and learning tools that have high linguistic and didactic potential is carried out. In recent years, video blogs have become widespread as a means of Internet communication and rapid exchange of information. This article discusses the basic principles of teaching oral monologue in a foreign language using a video blog as an educational material and substantiates the conditions for the implementation of these principles in the process of teaching RFL. The principles are divided into 2 groups depending on their functions in the process of developing oral and speech skills: 1) principles for choosing teaching methods; 2) principles for developing the educational material content. The highlighted principles are necessary for the development of a methodology for teaching oral monologue speech in Russian as a foreign language. The results of this study may be useful for teachers of foreign languages and specialists working with the problems of teaching oral communication in a foreign language using video materials.
