Abstracts:The approximate work program of education for general education organizations provides for three main positions: the formation of the Russian cultural and civic identity of students; familiarization of students with Russian traditional spiritual values, including the values of one’s ethnic group; historical education. Therefore, the subject of monitoring is the practice of formation of the Russian civic identity of schoolchildren at the municipal level, which is expressed in the presence of a management cycle for achieving qualitative and quantitative indicators for the formation of traditional values of the Russian civic identity of certain schoolchildren. The purpose of the study is to substantiate and present the results of monitoring the quality of the organization of civic education in the formation of Russian civic identity of schoolchildren in the context of a system-activity approach. Materials and methods: students from 151 educational organizations of the municipal general education system of the city of Omsk, consisting of 117,868 respondents, took part in the monitoring.
The monitoring period is the 2022/2023 academic year. Monitoring of the formation of Russian civic identity of schoolchildren included two tracks. TRACK 1: formation of value orientations of students; TRACK 2: prevention of destructive behavior of students. The methods involved are content analysis of documents from public organizations of the municipal education system of Omsk; the methods of mathematical statistics (registration, ranking, scaling).
The monitoring results allow us to formulate the most significant conclusions: the higher the indicators of psychological safety of the educational environment, the higher the formation of value orientations among students, the higher the level of subjective well-being and the lower their tendency to deviant behavior; with a high level of cooperation between parents and the school, the level of formation of value orientations among students is higher, this is especially evident in terms of family values; in those schools where the psychological safety of the educational environment was monitored once a year or more often, the quality of the school climate was better; the majority of students positively evaluate the activities of the director’s adviser on education and interaction with children’s public associations; in those schools where school mediation services or school reconciliation services carry out activities to prevent and resolve conflict situations, the level of students’ tendency to engage in illegal and aggressive behavior is lower; the presence of a primary branch of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth “The Movement of the First” is positively related to the value orientations and safety of personal development of students, the quality of the school climate; the following classes received the highest ratings from students: “Conversations about important things”, stories about professions during class hours, and career guidance testing.
