Abstracts:

The article is devoted to the effectiveness of the linguistic and cultural approach in the study of the Russian folk fairy tale “Geese-Swans” in Russian as a Foreign Language by students with B1 level of the Russian language. In accordance with the digitalization of education, it is recommended to start acquaintance with the text of the fairy tale with the interpretation of the meanings of new lexical units from the materials of the educational linguocultural Internet project “The Space of Russian Fairy Tales and Epics”. The work presents culturally oriented post-project tasks including consideration of the genre of the work, the value system reflected in it, determination of the key thought and morality. Tasks with a choice of one answer option are modeled on the questions of the subtest 2. Reading as part of a standard test in Russian as a Foreign Language for the first level (TRFL-1). They are designed to test reading comprehension. The conversation on the issues emphasizing the value priorities of the characters deepens the idea of the national picture of linguistic consciousness, as well as stimulates the construction of their own coherent logical statements, improvement of the speech culture of foreign speakers. The relevance of the study is determined by the disclosure of the linguistic and cultural, value-oriented potential of the Russian folk fairy tale “Geese-Swans” in teaching Russian as a Foreign Language, corresponding to the humanizing role of the modern educational process.
