Abstracts:

The article deals with the problem of teaching Russian as a Foreign Language in the aspect of professional training of foreign citizens. Russian language policy is aimed at popularizing the Russian language and Russian culture, including through the formation of professional communicative competences of foreign specialists receiving higher education in Russian universities. There is a need to find effective teaching methods, one of which is the business game method.

The purpose of the study is to describe and theoretically substantiate the inclusion of business games in the structure of an integrated subject-language module. The study is based on theoretical and practical materials of the major discipline, methods of analysis and synthesis, the method of observation, subject-language integration.

The study determines the essence of the business game, reveals the specifics of the medical business game, which is associated with the concept of medical discourse. A business game can act as an integrator of subject and language knowledge and implies a demonstration of proficiency in professional and linguistic skills. In this case it is a business game of integrated type. The main stages of its implementation are described using the example of the game “In the treatment room”.

Thus, the use of a business game in a medical university becomes an effective tool for the implementation of professionally oriented training aimed at mastering professional and communicative knowledge, skills and abilities.
