In the course of the work, the purpose of which was to identify the main phonetic features of the lullabies of the three above-mentioned languages, two dozen lullabies of the English, Russians, and Tatars were analyzed serving as the material for the study. Applying different methods of linguistic research, it was revealed that among the main phonetic techniques used in lullabies in the English, Russian, and Tatar languages, one can note an abundance of sibilant sounds and sonants.
