Abstracts:

Rapidly developing technologies change not only the material and spiritual needs of a person, but also create uncontrollable conditions for changing values in the minds of students. The emerging picture of self-awareness without wasting intellectual efforts to enjoy the benefits of human life has exacerbated the problem of formation of technological culture of students.

Every student is the subject of a specific ethno-culture. Thus, the article is devoted to the problem of defining the concept “technological culture of students” taking into account ethno-aesthetic value orientations in the system of continuous education. The system-forming basis for substantiating the terminological content of the concepts is “labor” as a category, as the basis of activity, a measure of moral, aesthetic, spiritual values of ethnic groups, an indicator of the essence of the concepts “technology”, “technological culture”, originating from ancient times.

A review of scientific and theoretical, pedagogical and methodological, aesthetic and ethnographic works revealed various interpretations of the essence of technological culture, the lack of a common definition taking into account ethno-aesthetic value orientations. The article attempts to identify the structure of the concept “technological culture”, to realize its essential properties in the system of continuous education. We believe it is possible to expand the properties of this concept taking into account ethno-aesthetic values in the formation of technological culture among students. In our understanding, technological culture is a multidimensional area of universal culture reflecting the picture of the world through activities at each historical stage of the development of types of universal culture and acting as a philosophical, psychological and pedagogical category, a carrier of ethno–aesthetic values, means of educational paradigms aimed at the development of students’ cultural components in the system of continuous education in the context of the unity of the biosphere, technosphere, noosphere.
