Abstracts:

The tasks of interethnic upbringing of the younger generation remain extremely topical and relevant in an era of paradigm shift in education under conditions of uncertainty. The article reveals the problem of interethnic upbringing of junior schoolchildren taking into account the regional component through ethnopedagogization of extracurricular activities. The article presents a holistic model of international education of junior schoolchildren in extracurricular activities by means of local studies.

The study identified the most effective organizational and pedagogical conditions for the interethnic upbringing of children of primary school age. Implementation of organizational and pedagogical conditions of interethnic upbringing of junior schoolchildren was carried out through the development and testing of the program of extracurricular activities “Dialogue of Cultures” within the framework of which the culture and traditions of numerous people of Tatarstan were studied (Tatars, Russians, Chuvash, Bashkirs, Udmurts); excursion study of the culture of the people of the native land; organization of interaction between family and school on ethnic and interethnic upbringing. As a result, the effectiveness of interethnic upbringing of junior schoolchildren through the introduction to the culture of the people of the native land in the context of extracurricular activities has been proved.

In the modern world community, it becomes impossible to eliminate the influence of political factors on education. It is important to convey to the students the essence of the processes taking place in the political, economic, cultural spheres of world and Russian society. In the conditions of today’s realities in the interethnic education of children, it is important to turn to historical memory and bring to the students the truth about the formation and development of a multinational republic and the country as a whole. We see the prospect of further research in the formation of the younger generation’s readiness to confront such actions as an attempt to rewrite the history of the Fatherland, justification the practice of fascism and nationalism, unleashing an information “war” through the use of means of ethnopedagogy and education of the culture of interethnic interaction. In primary school, this process should be carried out through the education of friendliness, politeness, tolerance in relations with people of different nationalities and intolerance to violence, evil, falsehood on the principles of humanism, trust, equality and cooperation.
