Abstracts:

The paper analyzes the relationship between teaching monologue speech to Chinese students and the use of modern educational technologies in the learning process in order to promote students’ development. The key approaches to the study of this problem are person-oriented and intensive. Based on this, the best and most effective methods and means to achieve educational goals are researched and determined. The article considers the technique for teaching monologue speech as the use of a graphic-symbolic analysis of a literary text; explores mutual influence of modern educational intensive methods in the teaching of monologue speech to Chinese students; pays attention to the development of interest in foreign language education. 16 lessons were held with Chinese students doing the 3rd year in Fudan University, Shanghai, China. The paper also presents a description of the structured educational process,    examples of dialogues between teachers and students, and considers in details the stages of graphic-symbolic analysis on the example of two artistic texts Bezhin Meadow and Mumu by I. S. Turgenev. The results demonstrate an improved command of monologue Russian speech by Chinese students and an increase in their motivation for further study of the Russian language. Thus, the use of the intensive method has proven to be an effective tool for generalizing, consolidating and revising educational materials, developing practical skills and abilities.
