Abstracts:

Learning and mastering pronunciation and intonation is the first step for Chinese students on the way to comprehending Russian as a foreign language. Human speech always contains prosodic nuances; intonation is given an important place in the system of phonetic knowledge. The article highlights prosodic characteristics of syntagms in the publicistic style of Russian speech of Chinese students using the computer program Speech Analyzer. The formation of the prosodic system of the language is carried out with the help of such prosodic means as melody, duration, intensity, prosodic timbre, pause, tempo, stress, etc. Intonation is one of the most important prosodic components in Russian sounding speech.

To achieve this research goal, it is necessary to solve the following tasks: to determine the phonetic characteristics of syntagmatic articulation of speech through the range of syntagm duration; on the basis of auditory and acoustic analysis, to identify the characteristic parameters of intensity and dynamic curve; to analyze and compare the acoustic data obtained in relation to the movement of the voice tone in syntagm; to identify the causes of interference in the transmission of emotional intonation in publicistic speech. As a result of this study, it is proved that Chinese students distorted prosodic features of speech in publicistic style from the point of view of syntagmatic division, actualization of prosodic/acoustic correlates.
